Mark-Taylor Sets Aggressive Contract Management and Development Goals
Signs New Marketing Chief
Scottsdale, Ariz.. (September 21, 2006) -- Mark-Taylor Residential adds Kim Atkinson to the team as director of marketing. New leadership in marketing comes at a growth phase for Mark-Taylor as the apartment developer sets the stage to achieve a series of aggressive contract management and development goals.
The Scottsdale-based apartment developer and management company has plans to grow its third party asset management business by 50 percent in the next 12 months. The company also plans to build three new communities in the next 18 months. They’ll do it all by launching creative and targeted marketing campaigns, showcasing Mark-Taylor’s unmatched credentials and stellar customer service track record.
Atkinson is no stranger to aggressive goals, and leaves her post as Marketing Communications Director at Cold Stone Creamery to take the job at Mark-Taylor. Cold Stone has experienced explosive growth during Atkinson’s tenure. The now-international ice cream chain had approximately 200 stores when she joined in 2002, and that number has grown to nearly 1500 today.
“Kim’s skills and our needs are one in the same, and we’re thrilled to have her on board to help us take Mark-Taylor to the next level,” said Dale Phillips, President of Mark-Taylor Residential.
Mark-Taylor Residential is one of the state’s largest developers and managers of apartment communities. The majority of the company’s business is managing apartment communities for third party owners. The award-winning company currently owns and/or manages over 5000 units in the Valley of the Sun.
